Post subject:  Donna Nook, 23rd April.

Two Red Kites came in from the sea at 0925. They engaged in tumbling displays over the mudflats interspersed with short rests on the sand before drifting slowly southwards along the shore and out of sight by 0940. Two Common Buzzards also passed south. Other migrants were in rather low numbers, hence 18 Swallows, 3 Wheatears, 3 Willow Warblers, 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Common Whitethroats, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Blackcaps and 2 Whimbrels.
