Whilst working out on the farm today, I decided to try and make a note of all the birds I could see/ hear. It's amazing what wildlife you can find in the middle of a theme park!!

3 mistle thrushes
6 goldfinches
2 robins
2 wrens
8 pied wagtails
2 carrion crows
5 magpies
3 blackbirds
1 greenfinch
Numerous swallows preparing to nest under every available roof space
Pair blue tits using the newly installed box on the side of the barn
And a reed warbler singing from out of the reed bed - first one I've heard on site in the 10 years I've worked here!!

A bee fly also landed beside me this afternoon - always nice to see!

Add all that to the bats, small mammals and huge insect population, and I could get used to not working in the office!! :D
