Post subject:  Dotterel, Tetney Lock.

5 were reported yesterday in a Pea field and 2 were seen this morning per Steve M et al, I had a good look this afternoon but no sign, just a Wheatear and a Yellow Wagtail.

no sign of dotterels this morning, but then there was no sign yesterday afternoon 1:30 to 4:30 either. Cuckoo along Commissioners' Bank this morning, also few whitethroats and willow warblers. 2 turtle doves there yesterday. 12 yellow wags and 2 wheatears around canal banks/track.

Typical! I'm in the Highlands of Scotland and I haven't seen a Dotterel. Should've stayed in Cleethorpes! :roll:

(Can't complain about the golden eagles, black grouse, ravens, red kite and 7 Slavonian grebes though :lol: )
