Post subject:  Swallows/Swifts & Sand Martins locally

31 Swallows passed over the garden yesterday evening at 19.40
More akin to perhaps an Autumn movement in terms of numbers?
Still no local breeding population in Boston just the odd single bird on most days.
Regrettably this does not give us any indication as yet as to the numbers that
will hopefully establish breeding sites.
3 Sand Martins flying around the underside of the Boston town bridge on Monday
afternoon at low water. Certainly not somewhere I would have ever considered looking for them.
