One heard cuck-oo ing at the far eastern end of Anderby village today, this is my first of the year and greatly appreciated. There was also a Jay fly across the road in the centre of Anderby village too.

I have not yet heard a Cuckoo in North Lincs., although had one fly over my garden last week.
For many years the date of hearing our first Cuckoo in Grasby was about April 21st.

Cuckoo heard about 11am this morning at Pottergate Golf Course. A Turtle Dove was also heard from 10am to 12 noon near the second green on the course. This is at least the third year it's been heard in the same location. Unfortunately it's been seldom seen.

Some days the birds brighten up the golf. Cheers
