The Spoonbill was still showing nicely on the wet grassland at 8pm this evening and was colour-ringed. Two dullish green rings above the knee on left leg with a dark grey ring inbetween. Another dull green ring on the right leg over a much more lurid yellowy/orange ring, both above the knee as well. I wonder if this was the same bird reported at Gib earlier today too? One can only presume that it is! |

Hi Daniel, I saw a picture taken of the Gib Spoonbill at distance and from what I could make out this does sound like the same bird. Rob. |

Thanks Rob. For the record, the Spoonbill was still on the scrapes (North Scrape, to be precise) at about 8:15 last night. |
