You head towards the wind turbine. I have written directions in the log book in the 1st hide.

Thanks for the directions Geoff
A steady parade of people went to see the bird this morning with the Temmincks Stint showing well this morning. No sign of the Wood Sandpiper though. Also about were 4 Greenshank, 3 Ringed Plover, 3 Dunlin and a flyover Redshank

Evening visit, no sign of the Temminck's but 1 Wood Sand, 1 LRP and 1 Greenshank on the 2nd flash.
The 2nd flash is drying rapidly but the farmer said water is still going into the first flash so it doesn't look as though it will attract many waders this spring.

So it looks as though there are two birds in the area then.

There has been no sign of the Temminck's Stint for a few days but there is one again on the 2nd flash with 2 Ringed Plover and a Greenshank this morning. Also 2 Tree Sparrow in hedge.

Went back in the afternoon for another look, now 3 Whimbrel were on the 2nd flash including this mornings waders. I think the Temminck's Stint is a different bird to the one seen earlier in the week as the feather patterns appear different on it's back. Also seen today were a Marsh Harrier and a Yellow Wagtail.

No sign of the Temminck's Stint, just 9 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin and a Greenshank. A flock of ca.30 Linnet and a Teal were notable.
Afternoon visit to Donna Nook, there was a Black Redstart by the RAF complex but views were limited to a quick look as a soldier was on guard duty and no stopping was allowed. (thanks to Chris Atkin for info.)
