Sunday 19th - 0810 - 1000 (first chance to post) Woke up to Spurn Tweets with several good birds around, so left the house in expectation but was sadly disappointed. Only new addition to recent weeks was a Spotted Flycatcher (first i have had anywhere for several years) Otherwise the usual suspects: Whitethroat - 3 Grasshopper Warbler - 1 Willow Warbler - 1 Sedge Warbler - 2 Reed Warbler - 2 Swift - 10+ House Martin - 30+ Swallow - 10+ Linnet - 2 Goldfinch - 1 Blackcap - 1m G C Grebe - 2 Reed Bunting - 1m & 1f Plus Long-tailed (1) & Blue Tit (1) House Sparrow several Mute Swan - 2 Magpie, Crow, Woodpigeon & Collared Dove Mallard, Moorhen & Coot Kestrel -1m & 1f Robin - 2 Blackbird - 2m Dunnock - 1 No Butterflies Cheers James |
