Hi
Visited Covenham and Donna Nook yesterday the 21st of May.
Covenham.
Very little about other than the large group of Swifts/Swallows and House Martins. Spent one and a half hours walking right round.
After speaking to two other Birders we together estimated the number of Swifts to be over 1000.
Swallows only about 25 and House Martins over 100.
I am a member of 'Bird Track' and on reporting these high numbers they felt that this was a very unusual High Number. Is this the case?
Any comments please!
other numbers
Carrion Crow 10 - Mallard 25 - Tufted Duck 5 - Buzzard 1 (Low over the Fields towards Mablethorpe)

Donna Nook
Again very quite. but did see the LRP on the scrapes as John Walker has reported.
A few Skylarks and the usual Crows, Rooks, Common Gulls.
A nice day with little reward, but that's 'Birding'
Regards
Malcolm.
