It started off very slowly but as the day wore on the birds increased, highlight had to be listening to the Turtle Dove giving it what for, then blow me it put in an appearance of which we were chuffed about :)

MSQ: 19.00 - 20.30

Only went from car park to Grebe Lake and perched myself on the bench seat, with DJ snapping whatever at the feeders. Didn't hear the N or see the H

Common Tern - 2 (pics) they were bombarding the Mute and BH Gull for getting too close to ...
Sedge Warbler - 1 (only feet away)
Oyk - 1 (heard)
Swift - 4 ( right over our heads)
Dunnock - 3
Robin - 1
Jackdaw - 1

Pleased to see the terns but highlight had to be the Grey Squirrel snacking on the nuts as we were about to leave, got some stunning pics and a not too good video, my fault for using too much zoom :D

Went down Holme Bridleway but very little about at quart to nine, they were most likely tucked up in bed :wink:

We both thoroughly enjoyed trip out!
