A quiet day at the reserve produced:

Black-headed Gull - a few hundred, with lots of chicks.
Common Tern - possibly as many as 200 birds, some with chicks.
Avocet - 10.
Swallow - 30 or so flitting about
Oystercatcher - 30. Flock of 70 or so on the shoreline.

Highlight was a Lesser Whitethroat in the hedges adjacent to the Living Classroom.
