Our first Spotted Flycatcher of the year was at Nettleton this afternoon when walking the 4.5 mile circular route from the Ramblers Car Park. One other bird of interest was a Probable Tree Pipit. It was sat in the top of a dead tree calling regularly then took off and flew high in the sky and then returned to the top of the tree. Roy & Linda |

I visited a site in the wolds on saturday where spotted flys were breeding in 2009 but none seen , it was rather cold and grey though. regards John. |
