0700 - 0900 (managed an earlier start than usual and hoped might see a few birds before the dog walkers invaded the lake but was disappointed) Mute Swan - pair + 3 young Mallard -20+m 2f & 8 young Coot - 3 + 1 young Moorhen - 1 + 1 young Blue Tit - 1 + 3 young Robin - 1 juv House Martin - 30+ (probably a lot more) Swift - 5 Willow Warbler -1 Chiffchaff - 1 Whitethroat - 2 Reed Warbler - 2 Sedge Warbler - 1 Grasshopper Warbler - 1 Blackcap - 1m Blackbird - 1m & 1f Crow, Magpie & Woodpigeon Wren - 5 Linnet - 2 Reed Bunting - 1m Kestrel - 1m Cheers James |
