There is some mud starting to show at last. 3 Greenshank flew in briefly this evening and yesterday there was a Common Sandpiper and a Green Sandpiper. There are 2 broods of Shelduck of 10 and 7.

I did 2 visits today, morning 6 Little Egret and 12 Grey Heron rising to 15 in the evening. 2 juv. LRP both sessions, 1 Green Sand but 7 on evening, 1 Greenshank with 4 on evening, 1 juv Redshank morning only and 2 Yellow Wag. There was slightly more mud showing today, the owner of the site says he will try and keep the water levels at the right balance.
