A lovely 2 hour walk with very few dog walkers :-).

Won't bore people with a full list but highlights were -

Mute Swan - Good to see the 3 young were surviving and being well looked after by dad.
Mallard - over 30 incl. 1 mum and 8 very young ducklings
Moorhen - 4 juv
Coot - 8
Bullfinch - m & f and 3 juv
Grasshopper Warbler - 2
Chiffchaff - 2
Willow Warbler - 1
Reed Warbler - 1
Whitethroat 2 or 3 including 1 feeding 2 juv
Blackcap -1
House Martin - 50+
Swallow - 3
Swift - 10+
Long-tailed Tits

Good to see so many young but the absolute highlight was the butterflies & moths. I have never seen so many in one place. On the main grass area there were hundreds. Full details in Butterfly section/
