The first Whinchat of the autumn, a juvenile, was present on the edge of a field of wheat by the sea-bank this morning. Not much recorded in the continuous light rain, the best being 14 Sand Martins south, 5 Yellow Wagtails, 6 Whimbrels and 32 Golden Plovers. |
