3rd august 4 buzzard 50 linnet 2 whimbrel 3 yell wags 5 pied wags corn bunting heard in the distance inland pyes way sparrowhawk kestrel 4 grey heron 8 little egret an the star of the show a red kite, over towards north cotes airfield 14.20 hrs. the first one I have seen down the haven. terry whalin had a check of records I have seen one other red kite down the haven, got a few messages about rare bird disclosure etc till I pointed out that saltmarsh is hardly kite breeding territory terry whalin
