Five parties of Whimbrel totalling 140 birds flew south this morning. Other birds of note were 6 Little Egrets, 5 Green Sandpipers, a Wood Sandpiper, 3 Greenshanks, 55 Curlews, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 9 Lapwings, a Mediterranean Gull, at least 9 Kestrels, Marsh Harrier, Cuckoo, 3 Common Crossbills, 4 Willow Warblers and a Wheatear. |
