| Post subject: | 08/08/2013 Unusual sighting of a Woodpecker in Gipsey Bridge |
This morning about 10.0am driving into the village along Leagate Road I saw several pigeons on the grass verge near the bus stop and they flew off leaving a Green Woodpecker getting stuck into, apparently ants in the verge it didn't give a fig for the traffic. It was the biggest Green Woodpecker I have seen. |
