I wasn't going to put this report in but owing to the questions about passerines I will enter the following from farmland inland off the haven 2 flocks linnet approx. 150 birds aprrox 30 goldfinch approx. 10 yellow wags 5 pied wags aprrox 5 reed bunts approx. 7 skylarks approx. 100 swallow over the stubble and saltmarsh flock starlings about 120 birds, all the above highly mobile feeding in the stubble area plus 1 imm male marsh harrier 5 little egret 3 grey heron 2 kestrel greenshank approx. 20 teal flew inland towards covenham area buzzard blackcap 3 yellow hammer sparrowhawk oh forgot the mipits ??? sorry I cannot be more accurate but it just reinforces johns view about the difficulty of getting an accurate count terry whalin |

Terence, It may not be 100% accurate, but it is still extremely useful data. Regards, Stuart |
