Very quiet this week; no obvious migration and most species quiet and unobtrusive.This morning along the Witham: Marsh harrier 2 Green sandpiper 2+1 Turtle dove 2 Kingfisher 2+1 No swifts and no sight nor sound of a blackcap all month. Presumably moulting? All greylag and canada geese have left, presumably to moult on a larger body of water? Robert |
