A two hour seawatch over the high tide period was most unrewarding and tern and wader numbers were only moderate. Migrants on the dunes at the south end included 25 Willow Warblers, 25 Common Whitethroats, an Icterine Warbler, a Garden Warbler, 7 Common Redstarts, 3 Pied Flycatchers, 9 Spotted Flycatchers, 5 Whinchats and 2 Tree Pipits. Also of note were 4 Sparrowhawks, 2 Common Buzzards, a Hobby, 2 Common Sandpipers and 4 Green Sandpipers.

Additionally, between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall at the same time were 2 more Garden Warblers, Blackcap, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Whinchats, Wheatear, 2 Redstarts and a Wryneck, the last being in the bushes near the new car-park where the fencing comes to the top of the dunes.
