Scotton Common (26.8.2013): Hobby over Scotton Beck Fields but nothing else of note. Butterflies: Clouded Yellow, Small Copper, Tortoiseshell(3), Speckled Wood(2), Meadow Brown, Small Heath, plus a number of day flying moths. Messingham Sand Quarry (26.8.2013): Heron(4), Cormorant(2), Lapwing(100+), Greylag Geese(50+), Gadwall(50+), Mute Swan(6), Long tailed tit(8), Greenshank, Redshank. |
