A two hour seawatch from 0930 saw northerly passage of 85 Wigeon, 46 Teal, 8 Common Scoters, 7 Gannets, 4 Cormorants and 2 Red-throated Divers while to the south were 61 Sandwich Terns, 88 Common Terns, 3 Arctic Terns, 11 Arctic Skuas, 3 Great Skuas, a Fulmar, a Pintail and an Eider. A further 44 Sandwich Terns were onshore, but most wader numbers were quite low. The only birds of note on the dunes and flashes in the freshening wind were singles of Common Sandpiper, Whimbrel, Marsh Harrier, Common Buzzard and Wheatear.
