The highlight this morning was 2 Ospreys at Pye's Hall. The first came in from the shore at 1055 and eventually continued SE down the coast. While this bird was still in view, another came in at 1100 and circled the outer marshes for about ten minutes before heading up Grainthorpe Haven and settling and remaining on a post on the marsh. 2 Marsh Harriers, 8 Ruffs and a Greenshank were also present and 2 Common Buzzards were seen inland. These were also seen by Mark Johnson, Pete Haywood et al.

a juvenile Osprey was over the Humber off Goxhill Skitter Ness this morning from 09:42 - 09:48 when it flew off down the south bank of the Humber towards Grimsby -- given a rough travelling distance of about 22 miles at 20 mph it could have been one of the birds noted at Grainthorpe;
