Riseholme Park and Grange-de-Lings (1.9.2013): Close encounter(within 10 feet!) with two Buzzards feeding/resting on ground in main area of Woodland behind the Colleges. A rare privilege. Also: Kestrel, Rooks(100+), House Martins(12+), Swallow(2), Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Heron(2), Moorhen, Coot, Mallard(3), Mute Swan, Crow, Fieldfare(6). In addition: Single Roe Deer and Speckled Wood Butterflies(2). |
