Hi James.
The Osprey sat on a post on the outer marsh, preening and ignoring the mobbing by two female marsh harriers for a couple of
hours from 1610hrs to 1800, when it took off in a very determined southerly direction.

Regards,

Neil

Thanks Neil,

The reason I ask, was that i spotted 2 raptors flying in from over the Humber around 2ish this afternoon and were heading due south along the A16. I was in my office and only just saw them as they flew over and as I ran to the other side they were flying directly into the sun so had no chance to make a proper Id but did get the impression that at least 1 was an Osprey.

I didn't get enough of a view to confirm it as a record but seems there is a chance that your bird might have been one i saw.

James
