Late afternoon: Not been out watching since Norfolk so we tried our luck on Black Bank.

First bird we heard and then saw was the juv Osprey :) followed by:

Buzzard - 1
Kestrel - 1
Linnet - 18
Wheatear - 1
Corvids, Wood Pigeon and Collared Doves.

Carr Dyke: late afternoon

Red-leg Partridge - 7 juvs
Linnet - 12

Met AA for the first time =D>

Kind regards

Max

Sept 3rd:

Had a few hours visiting sites not been to for quite a while.

Holme Bridleway: mid afternoon

Chaffinch - 1
Crow - 3
Buzzard - 1

Broom Plantation (near Manton):

Mistle Thrush - 3
Sprawk - 1

Manton:

Buzzard - 3 ( two being slightly bothered by the hirundines)

Black Bank:: 17:40 - 19:15

Kestrel - 2

An enjoyable few hours until I misplaced the car key at BB, I was picking some brambles and didn't know the key had fallen out me pocket, until I wanted it and it wasn't there   As I was trampling down the nettles it must have fallen out, I started to sweat and looked all over then decided to retrace my steps (thankfully there wasn't ditches or I would have been up the swanee) thankfully spotted a shiny object and got it back thankfully =D> Next time I'll be more careful!

Cheers

Max
