At sea this morning, moving north were 76 Wigeon, 70 Common Scoters, 4 Eiders, 17 Teal, 8 Cormorants and 5 Sandwich Terns. 4 different Sandwich Terns south with 4 Gannets, a Manx Shearwater and a Great Skua. The only migrants seen on the dunes were 2 Whinchats, Wheatear, 2 Robins, Song Thrush, Reed Warbler, Willow Warbler and 2 Common Whitethroats.
One or two of the Reed Warblers that I have seen in recent days have only recently fledged and have incompletely developed wing and tail feathers. I don't recall noting this species at this stage so late in the season in previous years.
