A less windy two hour seawatch this morning still produced southerly passage of 208 Sandwich Terns, 17 Common Terns, 13 Arctic Skuas, 3 Great Skuas, a Red-throated Diver and 2 Fulmars. Not many waders onshore after the high tide, most notable being 3 Whimbrels, plus an increase of Cormorants to 35.

300 Swallows feeding over the coastal fields were associated with combining and also the cutting of a lucerne field. The only migrants seen were 3 Common Whitethroats, Lesser Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Reed Warbler, Common Redstart, Yellow Wagtail and 2 Common Sandpipers.

Mark Johnson at the flood realignment area recorded 2 Marsh Harriers, Common Buzzard, Peregrine, 75 Teal, Little Stint and 13 Greenshanks. There was an exceptional party of 21 Greenshanks here yesterday.
