At 1035, a juvenile Osprey circled ever higher over the dunes and gradually drifted SE over the shore and sea. 4 Red-throated Divers and 60 Common Scoters on the sea and 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls with other gulls and Sandwich Terns on the tide-line.

An Osprey was also seen by Pete Cox later at 1340 circling over Howdales (between South Somercotes and Grimoldby) and eventually drifting south.

This morning (13th) was rather quiet at Donna Nook. Birds moving north at sea included Arctic Skua, Great Skua and 2 Red-throated Divers. Amongst other waders on the mudflats were 2 Little Stints and 2 Black-tailed Godwits.
