The first Goldcrest of the autumn was present at the south end this morning. Other migrants included a Garden Warbler and 2 Common Whitethroats, Green Sandpiper and Common Sandpiper. 60 Swallows and 48 Meadow Pipits headed south. |

I hardly saw any birds at Pyes Hall this morning, just 2 Wheatears which turned to only one when a Sparrowhawk took it, sad. Geoff |
