Post subject:  Frampton Marsh

A wet and windy trudge around the wet grassland this afternoon yielded one Marsh Harrier, two Kestrel, five Curlew, one Green Sandpiper, two Snipe, one Wheatear, six Yellow Wagtails, three Meadow Pipits, two Linnets and a Goldfinch, as well as a couple of Sand Martin amidst the fifty or so Swallow swooping around the crossbank.

Curlew Sandpiper and Little Stint were both reported from the scrapes, as was "a miserable looking Whinchat clinging to a post along the access road before disappearing over the grassland" (as per Les Ditchburn).

Also, one Common Buzzard over Wyberton Roads on way home.
