Lovely morning walk before the majority of the dog walkers surfaced (0730 - 1000) Main highlights - Kingfisher (2) Teal (1 f) Tufted Duck (1m & 1f) ChiffChaff (1) calling Bullfinch (5) Reed Bunting (1) Swallow - group of 40 south first thing then probably another 30+ individuals House Martin - around 40 above lake plus few other individuals Meadow Pipits - a few flying over Also a good number of butterflies and dragonflies James |
