Sunday 22nd September West Ashby gravel pit:- 7 Snipe L Grebe 15 Teal Baumber:- Peregrine overflew the farm at 1800hrs. Causing consternation amongst the local corvids. |

Tues 24th sept. West Ashby gravel pit:- Buzzard 10 Teal 6 Snipe 1 G Sandpiper 1 Kingfisher Baumber:- 2 Buzzard Hobby S/hawk Chiffchaff singing 3 W. Warblers 2 Y. Wagtails 10 LT Tits For the first morning I did'nt see any local hirundines until about midday. They were around yesterday so am thinking they must have departed with this good weather. A few migrant ones passing through later. |
