During a belated WeBS count between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall this morning, I saw my first 21 dark-bellied Brent Geese for the autumn. Visibility was rather poor, but other highlights included 283 Pink-footed Geese, 88 Shelducks, 1,525 Oystercatchers, 650 Dunlin, 2 Greenshanks, Marsh Harrier, 3 Reed Warblers and a Goldcrest. |
