Most of yesterday's migrants had moved on in the clear and fine overnight conditions. Of note today were a beautiful male Common Redstart, a Black Redstart, 4 Chiffchaffs, a Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Goldcrests. No specific seawatch was made, but from the dunes I did casually notice 18 Gannets, 2 Arctic Skuas, 120 Wigeon and 5 Brent Geese heading north. |
