I have been in discussion with Ed Mackrill this evening - he is sure he has had a Bairds sand late on today between the Old Spit and the Millennium Ridge. It was very skulking in marsh vegetation and was flushed a few times during which time plumage details suggested a juv Bairds and Ed also heard it call several times and has been able to confirm on XenoCanto.
Good luck to anyone following this up !................Nige !?
