Very few migrants were seen at the south end on account of the wind. In the bushes were 7 Song Thrushes, Yellow-browed Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, Chiffchaff and Siskin while one section of marsh produced a Jack Snipe and a Lapland Bunting. A fairly late Whimbrel was on a field of stubble.

A seawatch from 1045-1145 saw 65 juvenile Gannets heading north close to the shore and 15 mainly adult Gannets south much farther out to sea. Also passing north were 14 Brent Geese, 3 Cormorants, a Fulmar, 4 Arctic Skuas, Kittiwake, Red-throated Diver and 15 Teal. To the south were singles of Great Skua, Mediterranean Gull and Black-tailed Godwit. 150 Common Scoters were on the sea.

No sign of the Red-breasted Flycatcher at Pyes Hall today, just 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Song Thrush and 2 Redwing.
2 ring-tailed Hen Harrier, 20 Brent Geese, 1 Pintail, 2 Ruff, 1 Common Sandpiper and 7 Greenshank were noted on the walk back to Grainthorpe outfall.
