2 firecrests in exactly same little patch where myself and the Jennings were viewing them 2 years ago. different birds I think

that's all folks oh 12.30 till 15.30 hrs

A few more observers in the Pye's Hall to Stonebridge area plus good coverage of the south end accounted for some better day counts of migrants. Grand totals included 4 Yellow-browed Warblers, 6 Chiffchaffs, Willow Warbler, Blackcap, Lesser Whitethroat, Reed Warbler, 3 Firecrests, 6 Goldcrests, 5 Ring Ouzels, 10 Blackbirds, 80 Song Thrushes, 10 Redwings, 25 Robins, 20 Bramblings, 50 Chaffinches, Siskin, 2 Common Redstarts and 2 Wheatears. Other birds of note were 150 Brent Geese, 2 Arctic Skuas and a Little Stint.

A Ring Ouzel in my garden this afternoon may have been one of the two birds that departed SSW from the dunes at 1310.

also had a redstart forgot that, bit better day steve hope it keeps up (some chance )

I'll be down Wednesday and Thursday looks good for some firecrest action and there is something really good out there to be found! Get yourself to coast Ladies and Gentleman

Its regarding the beetle & parasite on your blog..it freaked me out..the size of the thing..how did that fit in..imagine trying to put it back in..wow!

3 Swallows south
3 Goldcrest
1 Greenshank
6 Dunlin

The Red-breasted Flycatcher was last seen at 12:50 and showed in the open quite well.

At the south end of Donna Nook this morning were 60 Song Thrushes, 10 Redwings, Ring Ouzel, Yellow-browed Warbler, 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Goldcrests, Firecrest, Common Redstart, Siskin, 2 Bramblings and a Lapland Bunting.

back home from nottm at daughters might have another look tomorrow weather permitting

Pleased i chose today to visit Donna Nook.
Finally got to meet and talk with Anthony Bentley, a really nice guy.
Also put a few more faces to some forum names & thoroughly enjoyed the birds on offer.

Plus tomorrows weather forecast is really awful.

1 Red-breasted Flycatcher Pyes - Just before sluice.
2 Yellow browed Warbler Pyes.
1 Yellow-browed Warbler (afternoon) behind c/park near Owl box.
3 Firecrest Pyes.
1 Firecrest - In obvious Elderberry clump 1/2 way to Pyes Hall.
9 Redwing.
3 Chiffchaff.
4 Goldcrest.
2 Kestrel
Several Ring Ouzel - Sth of c/park.
1 Swallow over Sth.
50 Pinkfeet over - easterly-ish

To err is human. To really louse things up takes a computer

There were fewer migrants apparent at the south end of Donna Nook this morning even though the wind had slackened a little. Today is the first day for over a week that I have not seen a Yellow-browed Warbler. The main migrants were 40 Song Thrushes, 2 Ring Ouzels, 7 Redwings, 15 Robins, Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcaps, Firecrest, Wheatear and Common Redstart. Three Sandwich Terns were disturbed from the tide-edge by a Peregrine and flew to the north.

Another Ring Ouzel, 3 Redwings and a Goldcrest were present in my garden in the afternoon.
