A ringing session at one of my garden sites was reasonably productive: Coal Tit 7 Blue Tit 4 Great Tit 3 Chaffinch 3 Greenfinch 15 Goldfinch 6 The most significant facts were that, bar one Great Tit and a Goldfinch all the birds were hatched this year and I did not re-trap a single bird despite ringing over 500 at the site in the spring. |
