Highlights from an area around Sea View Farm to NNR base during the day in between squally showers and blustery wind [gust of 33.8mph measured on top of dune nr SV car park].

Willow Warbler 16, Chiffchaff 7, Blackcap 20+, Goldcrest 70+, Firecrest 1, Blackbird 50+, Ring Ouzel 3, Redwing 90 [most had gone by late morning leaving just a few], Fieldfare 5, Song Thrush 13, Whinchat 1, Robin 28+, Brambling 12, Woodcock 1, Gannet 1imm looking lost heading out to sea and a fleeting glimpse of a single Hawfinch in a mature sycamore tree before it just disappeared out of sight.

Oops, well spotted Graham...slip of the typing finger...should have been 6 Willow Warblers and not 16!!
