also Cliff called us onto a halimodendri lesser whitethroat again seen very well,
c 12 chiffchaffs, 3 blackcaps, 1 yellow browed , c30 brambling, c40 siskin over, 5 ring ouzels,

Also a Short eared Owl high mobbed by Jackdaws and after passing a bush full of mobbing tits we later stood in ghe same spot and a Long eared Owl looked back at us. Incredibly easy to overlook in a small leafless hawthorn,

far fewer birds this morning tho the male RBF showed well,
a female merlin chased a single fieldfare coming in over the foreshore,
and a few tired redwings arrived some dropping on foreshore exhausted.
A yellow browed and 4 chiffchaffs in trees near Saltfleet sewage works this afternoon.
regards John
