Numbers of practically all migrants were much reduced at the south end this morning. The most noteworthy birds were 2 Waxwings which flew south at 0930 and constituted the earliest autumn record for the area. One Great Grey Shrike seen, also a Ring Ouzel, Woodcock and a Mealy Redpoll. |
