Two Richard's Pipits on the outmarsh at Quad 3 flew onto the coastal fields with Rock and Meadow Pipits when disturbed by a Merlin. 350 Pinkfeet and 76 Whooper Swans flew south. Chiffchaff and Redpoll, but not much else, in the bushes, while further north at the seal colony were 30 Twite and 250 Brent Geese. A Great Skua and another skua sp. flew north at sea.
