A quiet morning at the south end. 17 Whooper Swans were on the flashes and a lost-looking juvenile was flying around over the dunes and shore. 4 Gannets and an Arctic Skua headed south at sea, but the only birds of note on the dunes were singles of Common Buzzard, Chiffchaff, Lesser Redpoll, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Lapland Bunting. |
