Afternoon visit produced 435 Golden Plover, c 200 Lapwing and c100 Stock Doves in the fields by the S B Factory, plus 4 Grey Partridges, 3 Buzzards, Kestrel and a female Merlin by the right angle bend in the road. The Merlin was very active, chasing the local larks and pipits for 10 minutes or so before being lost from view. Cheers, David Cohen |
