Post subject:  Donna Nook, 9th November.

At 1155, a late Swallow flew south at the south end. A few birds were seen arriving from the sea during the morning and included a Short-eared Owl, 180 Starlings, 8 Redwings, 4 Fieldfares and a Song Thrush. 24 Whooper Swans were still present on the flashes with 9 Mute Swans, 68 Canada Geese and 2 Greylags. Also of note were 2 Peregrines, a Merlin, 150 Brent Geese, 3 Twite, 12 Rock Pipits, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Water Rail and a Kingfisher.
