A 30 acre field of winter wheat in Dunsby Fen contained:

600 Lapwing
50 Golden Plover
80 Black-headed Gull
200 Starlings
4 Buzzards
1 Kestrel

All feeding, hopefully, on slugs. Nothing rare or even unusual but an enjoyable time scanning through the birds on a murky afternoon.
