Blackbirds at the south end totalled ca.260 and, as yesterday, many had gone inland by early afternoon. Not much else was moving, however. Three Sparrowhawks were hunting the dunes and at least one of them caught a Blackbird. Also seen were 40 Twite, 2 Water Rails, 6 Whooper Swans and a Goosander. |
